ABOUT SARAH
Sarah McMurtrie is a mother of 3, writer and teacher with a degree in psychology.
She has worked with young people for more than 20 years .Her passion is supporting children that have experienced trauma, and the agencies and people that support them.
Sarah’s ability to both inspire audiences and challenge their perceptions with humour and neuroscience has made her a favoured voice in the Australian child protection sector.
Sarah’s first book, UNTWIST, is a tool to help people and organisations build relationships and connect with children that have experienced trauma.
She lives on a farm in NSW with her husband Bryce, three boys — Archie, Charlie and Oscar a (and a few sheep,cows and six dogs!)
