Sarah is a highly engaging  speaker who brings humour, neuroscience and experience about embracing trauma informed therapy.

With a background in education, managing complex trauma and child protection, Sarah has a mountain of knowledge to share on trauma informed practice to engage  with and connect to ‘complex’ kids.

“Children that have been removed from their home and placed in foster care or institutions often have very complex emotional needs,” Sarah explains.

“Understanding what has happened to them, helps us to see beyond their behaviours and focus on building valued and trusting connections with these children and support emotional healing.”
